I have been married to my amazing wife for 8 wonderful years, and I just became a father for the first time on August 5th! (you can check our gorgeous girl out on her blog)
I love working with people. I love the challenge of being in the right place at the right time to capture moments that can be enjoyed over and over for generations. Nothing gives me a more complete sense of satisfaction than working with people who “never look good in pictures”, and making photos that they *LOVE*. I strive to make photos that convey the spirit of the subjects, their feelings & their lifestyle. To me, it’s a lot more than posing people in front of a pretty backdrop, it’s creating an environment and moment in time where people feel like themselves. In my opinion, nothing is more beautiful than being genuine.
That’s pretty much me. That, plus I’m way too young to have this much grey hair.
Oh yeah…I also never like the way I look in photos. I think my smile always looks weird, and my wife says I look angry when I’m not smiling. Thankfully that’s pretty rare.
