Elgin Street Engagement – Coleen + Stephen

I remember back when I was doing engagement photos by City Centre in Ottawa for Jan + Mike, seeing the Orange Art Gallery for the first time and thinking to myself “This would be a really cool place for a wedding!”.  Then, almost by chance, Coleen & Stephen got in touch with me about their upcoming wedding….on Hallowe’en night….at Orange Art Gallery.

What’s VERY cool about this Halloween wedding is that it will be masquerade style.  What is VERY VERY cool about this wedding is that Stephen is an incredible artist, and his work is currently exhibited at the gallery.  Seriously….go check out his stuff, and follow him on Instagram…he’s my new favourite person on there.

Back to their engagement session….with their wedding coming-up in a few short weeks, and the cold weather not far-out, we headed-out on (Canadian) Thanksgiving Monday, which happened to be a beautiful & unusually warm evening.  We started at the bottom of Elgin St and walked up to Parliament, where they first met, then worked our way back down.  I think we had a good time, and got some pretty cool pictures….though I think the B&W is my personal fave.

I can’t wait for their wedding…it’s coming soon!
