Wedding at Marshes Golf Club : Erin + Dustin

I first met Erin and her sister (and Maid of Honour), Kate way back during the snowy winter months over a coffee, when Erin was still living in Waterloo finishing her education in Optometry.  The story of Erin and Dustin is very cool.  They were High School friends, and nothing more, and didn’t go on their first date until their 2nd year of University at U of T.  They did go to the High School prom together, but apparently only because they were the two tallest in their graduating class.  Based on the chemistry I see between them, I can’t imagine how they spent so much time together…but not together.

Their Wedding at Marshes Golf Club started with the girls getting ready at the Spa Day Retreat in Kanata, followed by a private first look near the Brookstreet Hotel.  We then headed to Pinhey’s Point for some photos with the bridal party, before heading back for the ceremony & reception at the gorgeous Marshes Golf Club.  While the day started off quite brisk for mid-September, it ended up being sunny and beautiful – and I’m sure the guys in the black suits were more than happy that it wasn’t any warmer.

Congrats, Erin & Dustin – you’re an amazing couple surrounded by great people, and I’m honoured that you invited me to document your wedding day.
