I’ve known Chris for a number of years, his brother-in-law is one of my closest friends. Although I haven’t spent a great deal of time with Chris, I can tell that he’s definitely cut from the same cloth as the rest of the Pella family – who are some of the warmest, kindest, and super fun people I’ve met. For a simple example, in the 40 minutes I spent at Chris’ parents’ house to photograph Chris & his groomsmen getting ready, Angela (Chris’ Mother), offered me lasagna 5 times…the final time to take some to go when I was leaving. Gotta love Italian hospitality. 🙂
When I first met Kami a few years back, I could tell right away that she and Chris were a fantastic pair. They are similar in all of the good ways, and different in other good ways…they balance each other beautifully. They are one of those couples you meet, and immediately know that they’re great for each other, and love being together.
Their wedding day was beautiful from start-to-finish. On an August Saturday that was forecasted for rain and thunderstorms, it ended up being gorgeous. Their ceremony was at the stunning St. Anthony’s Parish in Ottawa’s ‘Little Italy’, followed by a beautiful reception at the Canadian Museum of Civilization.
Contratulations, Kami & Chris – thanks for letting me be part of your incredible day.
