This wedding was all kinds of cool, and really different. Colene and Stephen had a masquerade-themed wedding on Halloween night, at a really cool art gallery in Ottawa, called Orange. What made this Orange Art Gallery wedding especially special, is that Stephen (a massively talented local artist)’s work was being exhibited at the time of the wedding. I mentioned it in the post about their engagement session, but I really mean it – check out Stephen’s work here! And follow him on Instagram here!
The wedding was a ton of fun. We started around 5pm, which is pretty late for Halloween in Ottawa, so we didn’t have much time before it got dark. We were able to get some photos around the Gallery before everything was set-up for the wedding ceremony, and before Colene completely froze. While we were happy that it wasn’t raining, it was definitely not a warm day.
The ceremony was beautiful and extremely quick, and the reception was a blast. With beer on tap from local craft brewer ‘Beyond the Pale’, and catering from the awesome Jason Laurin at Essence Catering, guests were in for a serious treat.
Congratulations, Colene + Stephen!
