Although Le Belvedere is a “local” wedding venue for me, this was actually a destination wedding for Natasha + Cameron.  The couple lives in Montreal, and had a very particular idea of *the perfect* venue for their August wedding. As soon as they visited the gorgeous location and meet with the incredible operators, they knew that this was going to be the ideal spot.  Natasha’s day with her “ladies” started at their AirBnB in town, whereas Cameron & the “guys” got ready at Le Belvedere’s gorgeous sister property, “The Grand” Inn, in Wakefield (quotes used with “ladies” and “guys”, since both had mixed-gender wedding parties).  Their party rocked all day, eventually wrapping-up with a sparkler exit at 1:15am.  These Montrealers know how to party.  Here are some highlights from their day:

* Huge thank-you to my good friend, Sully Clemmer, for flying-up from Mississippi to 2nd shoot this one with me!

Sparkler exit at Le Belvedere

This day started off for me at 4am, to be able to make a 7am flight to Toronto, to then drive to Niagara-on-the-Lake for Taryn + Eli’s wedding at Sue-Ann Staff Winery. To be truthful, I was a little bit worried that I’d be tired, having been up so early, but this day was so absolutely crazy and full of awesome, I don’t think I blinked all day. The Hora alone had me buzzing until I checked-in to my hotel room at 2am. I think if businesses were run anything like Jewish Weddings, nobody would ever dread going to work on Mondays.

Ok…it’s been a while since I’ve updated my blog with any new content. A long while. Things have been so busy that I haven’t had a lot of extra time, and client delivery is always a higher priority than my own website maintenance.  That’s a good thing, right? Things aren’t slowing down any time soon, but I’m going to try to carve-out some time to post more weddings.  I had a client meeting last night where the clients pointed out how there wasn’t much new in the year since they booked me, so that was a good kick in the behind for me to get to work.

Up first…Ashley & Ben’s Evermore Wedding!  This was last summer, on one of those RAINY RAINY RAINY days.  It absolutely poured all day.  Did that stop them from having an absolutely insanely great day?  NOPE.  It was awesome from start to finish…and the finish?  Well…you’ll see.  Let’s just say I had to open Photoshop to modify it because this is a family friendly blog!
